Okay, it’s been 2 Sim-weeks and there have been no Celebrities and no Vampires. I opened a brand new neighbourhood just to check if my install was weird, and it created Celebrities right away. For whatever reason the NRaaS just isn’t spawning them, so I gotta take things into my own hands.
Enter god-mode: First I tried to guess who the game would probably consider famous. So I tried to find the townie-Sims who are at the top of their careers, and are rich, and I haven’t really had much contact with. (Cascadia and Pascal are excluded because of the last one.) The newly installed celebrities are: Cletus and Isidro (level 4), Rigoberto (3), Dean (2), Elliot and Jayme and Courtney and Christopher (1). Also I immigrated 2 Vampires into the town who are also famous: Demetria and Alvin Diwan-Rader (1).
Week 20 – Day 134:
Serefina has 15 days left, the twins have 7 days left, and Belladonna has 1 day left.
Brady bumped into the vampiress Demetria almost immediately and became a Fame Leacher (1). He also got promoted to Obscure Clue Summoner (5).
Case 11: 1s and 0s: Credit card debt. What is this world coming to..? Pedro Very-Special’s recent zealous financial transactions have caused some serious mental strain in the form of oversized overdue bills. As an amateur hackerista, I slid past the bank’s firewall and blanked his decadent debts. Unethical, but it’s a living. In celebration he’s off on a shopping spree.
Deo’s been hanging out with his great aunt Cascadia. They’re both kindof crazy so they get along well.
Kajaptah didn’t get dysentery riding in a conestoga wagon on the Oregon Trail*.
*Not to be confused with the game Oregon Trail by Zynga.
Day 135:
Serefina and Niobe met Demetria, and got boosted up to the Notable Figures (2). Then Niobe got in a fist-fight with her, as you do. She really hates vampires for some reason.
Belladonna aged up to Toddler, but there’s no photos of that.
The twins had their first day of school. They met the newly-hired grade-school teacher, none other than the Demetria, Queen of the Damned. That seems really unsafe for the kids.
Prometheus delivered the Pink Diamond Heart to the Science Lab and got a Life Core. This will help him with his “mystery invention”.
Niobe got promoted to Paranormal Expert and completed her LTW. Double-plus excellent!
Day 136:
Hyperion and Deo aren’t allowed to talk to professor Ms. Diwan-Rader because she’s a celebrity. I can’t imagine how they manage to learn anything.
Case #12: The Pilfered Pocketbook: A lost wallet. What is this world coming to..? Poor ol’ Zachery lost it during a sunny beachside voyage. I follow the leads to the lair of the menacing mistress of darkness, Demetria. But for a wink and a smile she’s willing to part with it. Fortunately for Zach, not a single billfold was missing.
Prometheus got aged up to Adult. I wasn’t paying attention so he left his own birthday party to follow celebrity Rigoberto Diwan-Gilbert across town to take his photo. He also stood up for miner’s rights on Mars.
Kajaptah got bumped up to Fame Leacher. This celebrity system is really easy. As the only mummy in town, it would make sense that she’s famous, non? She also rescued the Cox family from a raging hoarde of Mastadons.
Day 137:
Yep, it’s time for Kajaptah to move on out. I needed another slot in the house, and Mummies are just too darn slow for me.
Prometheus was having trouble building the “mystery invention”, so he bought himself the Best Friend award. The mechanical man Tungsten joined the legacy house.
And yeah, he’s pretty scary. He looks like he fell in an acid pit and he kindof reminds me of our favourite droid, HK-47.
There was another eating contest, but most of the family was disqualified due to teleportation. Gosh darnit! Some of the family are getting the “hunted” by vampires moodlet, so I’ve given everyone pieces of Garlic to carry around. That probably helps.
Day 138:
Whoops, Prometheus became a Fame Leacher by accident. Oh well, at least he gets discounts at the Consignment Store. Also got promoted up to Father of Local Ingenuity (7).
Serefina’s agent told her that she’s only popular because of her body, so she needs to work out more. Wow, that’s kindof mean.
Glitch time: Deo and Hyperion were hanging out at Demetria’s swimming party (note, no pool) and then get forced to bike home because of curfew. It takes forever man..
Again, Rene has grown up to Teen but his twin brother Lewis is still a child. Typical.
Day 139:
Tungsten joined the Gardening career and was promoted up to Famed Farmer immediately. Seriously, easiest career.
Serefina had to help the Criminal warehouse when their evil plot to steal all of the town’s clouds backfired. She also got promoted up to B-List Celebrity (3).
Wow, Kajaptah is dating Cletus Tanner-Steel, who is notably the wealthiest townie in town!
Day 140:
Case #14: Keep on Trollin’: Cyber insults. What is this world coming to..? Theresa Ding-Ing believes Dean Lettuce-Tomato is trashing her good name in an online forum. Acting as her intermediary, I break into his account and call him a “Noopen-Poopen”. Not sure why.
I guess you get the key to the city whenever you reach the top of a career? Anyways, the new mayor is called Paulo Ashton. Also Niobe’s agent wants her to dance for 3 hours at the Grind, because “why not?”
And that’s it for this week. Yep yep yep! Don’t forget to vote for the next heir, I need someone to break the tie.
Community death count: 159 or so
Legacy Score: 51. (Gen: 4 + LTW: 7 + Portraits: 10 + House: 10 + LTR: 20)
Theme song of the week: “The Robots” by Kraftwerk

Your legacy score is great for four gens in! Good idea to keep the spares around to complete their LTWs.
Yay, and I’m all caught up! Looking forward to seeing what happened next. 🙂

Whoosh, so many comments! You’re the first person to comment on every single post! Thanx for the kind words!
The score does seem a bit high though. I think probably I will have to modify the Lifetime Happiness points for everyone who went on vacation to account for the extra days they got. I know some people also take away points for accidents and such, but I kindof forgot to keep track of that. I’d probably lose a bunch just from pyromaniacs like Serefina setting the hotel in Paris on fire. 😛
